On June 6th, we commemorate everyone who has defeated cancer, honor the loved ones we've lost to cancer, and celebrate those still fighting.
Happy National Cancer Survivor's Day!
Juneteenth - also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Liberation Day, and Emancipation Day, is celebrated on June 19th. On this day in 1865, Union soldiers reached Galveston, Texas and delivered word that slavery was abolished. Almost immediately, formerly enslaved African Americans celebrated their freedom with prayer, feasting, song, and dance!
Father's Day is June 20th. The week leading up to Father's day, June 14th - June 20th, is deemed International Men's Health Week. The goal is to raise awareness around men's health issues on a global scale. Dads around the world, this is your time to shine!
