Some of the causes that are brought to the forefront include: Aids Awareness, Blindness Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Down Syndrome Awareness, and Depression Education Awareness. If there is a cause that you are fond of, be sure to take action by supporting your local chapter.

October 18th - 22nd is National Health Education Week. This is a yearly event that was created by The Society for Public Health Education to promote the importance of health education as it relates to major public health issues, click here to learn more.

Bullying happens in many forms, to kids of all ages. According to a federal survey, nearly 1 out of 5 high school students reported being bullied over recent years. Foster Parents, be sure to check your email for instructions on setting up direct deposit. The new deadline to submit documentation is the 20th of each month.
