May 18th is recognized as Emergency Medical Services for Children Day, which is intended to raise awareness around the need for improved specialized care for children. Emergency care often comes from parents, caregivers, trained EMS providers, and hospital personnel. Together, they strive to meet their unique needs.

Memorial Day is May 30th!
This a day to remember and honor those who have fought for us! The national holiday was established to honor those who have died in American wars. One Fun Fact about Memorial Day is that it was originally called Decoration Day. It began during the American Civil War, when citizens would place flowers on the graves of those who had been killed in battle.

We also celebrate the families who provide safe and loving homes for our Nation's foster children. Find a way to show those making an effort how important they are to millions of families

spread the word

Covid-19 has taken a toll on available foster placement for children and teens especially. If you or someone you know has considered becoming a Foster Parent, now is the time.
